This Week’s Sizzling Job Search Strategy: Searching Only ONE Way will Keep you Stuck
Do you want to land a job before the end of the year? Then try Get Her Hired’s 4-Step F.I.N.D Job Search Strategy. Many people apply to jobs like it’s 2001: they react to posts on job boards. Sweet friend - just applying does NOT even come close to cutting it anymore. Take action in EACH of these 4 areas 1-3x a week and I guarantee you will land more interviews, faster.

This week’s “Girl, thanks for telling me!” Topic: State your Number
20-Minute Challenge: Research salaries for your role(s) on Payscale.com, Salary.com, Glassdoor, Ziprecruiter, or LinkedIn. Ask AI to suggest 3-5 other job titles for you. Pull together a range as well as an average salary. Then decide what YOU want. You might be amazed at what you can and will ask for. GHH TIP: When asked for your salary requirements state your ONE number, then stop talking. Do not give a range. Why? Because you are worth the top of the range.
This Week’s Data-Diva Tip: Start Pulling your Q3 Data Together
Want to be ready for your year-end performance review? Then gather your Q1-Q3 accomplishments. Think about the goals you've smashed so far. Calculate how you exceeded expectations and translate into a metric, for example: you grew, reduced, improved, maintained, decreased, increased something. Keep a file with those numbers and update as the year progresses.
